Jake will be 9 months old next Tuesday! Time sure does fly when you're having fun...or chasing him around the house, waking up all hours of the night, changing endless diapers, and retrieving grass and leaves from his mouth. He loves being able to crawl all over the house and the independence that gives him. He often likes to be chased down the hallway and will look back to make sure you see him, and then will crawl as fast as he can to try to escape being picked up and brought back into the family room. He is standing up on everything and sometimes forgets to keep one hand on the object and accidentally falls back. He's figuring it out though! He's eating avocado, bananas, cherries, peaches, apples, pears, squash, zucchini, peas, carrots, black beans, spaghetti, waffles, sweet potato, and more. He doesn't like to be spoon fed as much and like to feed himself. We've got his 9 month check in appt on Tuesday, so I'll update this with his weight and height.
