Katie's 30th B-day
Our dear friend Katie celbrated her 30th B-day in style! We had drinks and appetizers at her house and Erin's house, went to dinner in Southlake at an Italian restaurant, and then went dancing at the Gaylord Texan. Great time! We love you Katie!
Colonial Golf Course
Phil had been a "marshall" for the Colonial Golf Tournament and as part of the deal, he got to play the Colonial Golf Course! He had a blast with his friend Ryan and played well.
Halloween
Jake was a fireman for his first Halloween! He was brave and cozy all at the same time. :) He went "stroller treating" at a Stroller Strides class where the kiddos got dressed up and got some snacks and goodies.

Touchdown!
Jake's new "thing" is showing us his best interpretation of "TOUCHDOWN!". He does it all the time now, it so funny. He also loves to clap right after he does the touchdown. He has learned that we clap when he does touchdown, so he does too. It also seems that he has started clapping when he is happy. So sweet. He has also been very vocal lately and is practicing making all kinds of inflections with his voice. He loves the commercials that have singing and music and always stops to watch and smiles at them. He will definiley be a music guy! :) He is almost 11 months old!
Cowboys season opener
We got some "party passes" with some friends and checked out the new Cowboys stadium. It was very impressive and almost overwhelming. There were a ridiculous amount of people inside that place. We tailgated for a bit before the game and got in right before it started. They must have over sold the party pass tickets or something, b/c they ended up turning away a lot of people. Luckily, we weren't one of them! We had fun! It wasn't as crazy, chaotic, or crowded as I thought it would be. We were able to get drinks and use the restroom without much problem! So, I say it was a success. We would do it again sometime, for sure. Its a shame we lost though. Go Cowboys!!
