More 7 month pics

We finally busted out the high chair and Jake seems to enjoy it! He usually eats home made pureed foods like apple and pear with cinnamon, banana and black bean, and sweet potato and squash. But, I thought I would let him try some spaghetti and he loved it!!

In June, Grandpa Truitt came out to see us! He had a lot of fun with Jake and we took lots of pictures. Grandpa even got to see him take his first 'real' crawl and was helping Jake practice his standing.

Memorial Day

Here's some pics from Memorial Day at the park.

Jake is almost able to sit up on his own...he still leans forward on his hands or starts to lean to the side...but he is getting there! He also LOVES rolling over all over the living room to get to whatever he has his eyes on...whether that's Sammy, a toy, or a shoe. Yikes! He also is getting up on all four's and starting to rock back and forth...just like he's about to take off! He's going to be crawling any day now...

Jake likes to swing!

I didn't realize that Jake was actually big/old enough to swing! Some of the other moms got me to try it and sure enough he fit in the swing just fine. I think he enjoyed it..look at that smile.

Splash Park

We started off the day with a Stroller Strides workout at River Legacy. I taught a "Boot Camp" themed class which is why Jake and I are wearing camo. Then we met up at a Splash park where they have fountains of water that spray out of different things like turtles, whales, etc. The kids love it. Jake enjoyed sticking his feet in the spray of water. Good times!

My first Mothers Day!

We went to Mimi's Cafe and had some great breakfast. Phil got Jake that cute shirt to wear and put together a photo album for me of Jake pics from birth to 6 months. Very sweet!
